How the modules work ?

Never experienced these modules ? They are very easy to use !
All EX9000 modules have a RS485 interface. This is an advantage, because RS485 is a addressable bus. That means that on one RS485 line you can have multiple (up to 256) modules. You only need 2 copper wires that can have a length of up to 3,6 km ! (installed in your project). Along this line you can just connect any of the EXPERT modules you need (all models mixed!) on the place were you need them. That is the Remote IO Principle.

On the modules you will see screw-terminal contacts "Data + and Data -". All you have to do is to connect to these screw-terminals and when you have multiple modules, you just go from module to next module... etc. (still only 2 wires). When you have connected all modules, then you have to enter the PC.

Imagine you have all modules connected and you are holding just holding 2 copper RS485 wires in your hand... What now ? These 2 copper wires have to connect to the controller that will control the modules. This "controller" can be a normal PC or a micro controller or PLC, or whatever you want. The 2 wires are still RS485. We have EXPERT converters that will convert the RS485 signal into your required connection to your controller ! Reed on....
